LLM Application Developer Stack

Build, test, and deploy production LLM apps, with observability, vector retrieval, visual flow building, and evaluation baked in.

Our Take

This is an engineering stack, not a no-code one, aimed at a developer actually shipping an LLM application to production rather than prototyping a chatbot. Dify and Flowise both do visual flow-building for LLM apps, the real differentiator is Dify's stronger production deployment tooling versus Flowise's more flexible node ecosystem, pick based on whether you're closer to shipping or still experimenting. Langfuse is the piece most teams skip until something breaks in production and they wish they had observability from day one, add it before that happens, not after.

True Cost & Exit

What this stack really costs to run, and how you'd leave it.

Monthly cost

from $168/mo (all core tiers)

Lean alternative

Flowise, self-hosted, is free and covers visual flow-building for experimentation; move to Dify's paid Professional tier only once you're closer to a real production deployment and need its stronger deployment tooling.

Exit path

Your application data and vector embeddings live in Supabase's Postgres database, which supports a standard pg_dump export at any tier; your flow definitions live in Dify or Flowise's own project files, and Flowise's open-source, self-hosted nature means you always hold that data directly regardless of the vendor.
