Bottom Line
Catalog updated: August 2026
Adobe Firefly and AutoDraw both compete in Design, overlapping most directly on design. Adobe Firefly runs on a freemium model while AutoDraw runs on a fully free plan, which alone may settle it if budget or a free tier is a hard requirement.
Choose Adobe Firefly if…
Best for designers and agencies producing client-billable work that needs a clear legal answer on image rights, and its edge is adobe's own Firefly models train exclusively on licensed Adobe Stock and public domain content, backed by IP indemnification; partner models added to the suite carry their own separate terms. The safe choice when legal risk matters more than pushing creative boundaries. Lean toward AutoDraw instead if sketch a rough shape and get a polished, artist-made version to swap in instantly, completely free matters more for your use case.
