The hard constraint is in the name: visualizations and their underlying data are public by default, which rules it out for anything proprietary or confidential. Data refresh on the free tier is also limited, so it is better suited to project-based published work than a live operational dashboard. If the data can be public and the need is a polished shareable visual, the price makes it the default starting point.
