Step 1
Write a Detailed Prompt
Use ChatGPT to help you write a highly detailed headshot prompt specifying lighting style (studio, natural), background, attire, and mood. Specificity dramatically improves results.
Step 2
Generate Initial Headshots
For Midjourney: paste your prompt and append --v 6 to pin the model version, an intentional choice here for visual consistency and reproducibility across your variations. Generate at least 16 variations by adjusting style parameters (--style raw, --chaos, lighting keywords). For Adobe Firefly: open the Generate Image panel, choose your model version from the Model dropdown, then generate at least 16 variations by adjusting Style, Structure, and Color and Tone settings.
Step 3
Upscale Your Favorites
Select your top 3–5 results and upscale them to maximum resolution inside your chosen tool. For Midjourney, use the U1–U4 buttons.
Step 4
Remove or Replace Backgrounds
Upload your chosen headshot to Canva AI's background remover or Adobe Firefly to swap the background to a clean office or gradient.
