Mark which questions are [ESSENTIAL] vs. [IF TIME ALLOWS]. Include a note on how to handle answers that go off-topic.
Pro Tip
Mark only two or three questions as truly essential, not five or six, because interviewers who protect too many questions as must-ask end up rushing the answers that matter most.
