Xpander

Xpander.ai is a backend-as-a-service platform for AI agent applications, providing the infrastructure components that autonomous agents need to operate reliably in production without teams building those components from scratch. The core services include: persistent memory (storing and retrieving conversation context, user preferences, and task state across sessions), tool management (discovering, calling, and handling responses from external APIs and services), multi-step orchestration (managing execution flow across sequential and parallel task steps), and event-driven triggering (responding to external events that should initiate agent runs). Xpander's connector layer provides pre-built integrations with business applications, CRMs, email platforms, calendar systems, project management tools, databases, that agents can read from and write to without custom API integration work for each connection.

The observability layer logs all agent actions, tool calls, memory reads and writes, and decision points, enabling debugging and auditing of agent behavior in production. SDK support covers Python and JavaScript with OpenAI-compatible patterns, minimizing the code changes required to add Xpander infrastructure to existing LLM applications. Rate limiting, retry logic, and error handling are managed by the platform rather than requiring implementation in application code.

Xpander is most suitable for engineering teams building production AI agents who have validated their agent's core behavior but need to add persistence, tool access, and operational reliability without building those layers themselves.
