Create a Video Sales Letter from a Script
Turn a sales script into a produced VSL with professional delivery, captions, and B-roll, without a camera or studio.
Time Required
2–3 hrs
Expected Result
A 5–15 minute video sales letter with a professional presenter, captions, supporting visuals, and a CTA ready to embed on a landing page.
Recommended Tools
Write the VSL Script
Use ChatGPT with a VSL framework prompt (attention, problem, agitation, solution, proof, offer, CTA) to write the full script. Aim for 750–1,500 words for a 5–10 minute video.
Record the Presenter Video
Upload the script to HeyGen or Synthesia and select a professional avatar to deliver it. Adjust voice pace and emphasis for key selling points.
Add Captions and Visuals
Import the presenter video into Descript. Add auto-captions, then insert slides, product screenshots, or data visuals as B-roll at key moments in the script.
Enhance Audio Quality
Run the audio track through Adobe Podcast's Enhance Speech feature to remove any background noise and normalize volume across the whole video.
Export and Embed
Export the final video from Descript in 1080p. Upload to Vimeo or Wistia for embeddable use, and use Loom AI to create a shareable version with chapters.
